wieże lub suszone liście babki, zmieszane do połowy z płucnikem, dają wyborną herbatę przeciw zaflegmieniu. Jeźli oczy łzawią , wziąć świetlika lekarskiego

i babki szerokolistnej po łyżce stołowej, zamieszać tę mieszankę

w szklance wody kminkowej przez 2 dni, a potem przefiltrowaniu w chore oko wpuszczać.
